Groundflare / Combustor,  Matrix Flare

EET supplies several different types of ground flares, assisted and unassisted type, in "open" and "closed" design.

GFS Groundflares are large furnace-like structures used to control and hide the flare flame. Combustion proceeds within a firebox, with minimal control of air flow or temperature.

Combustors are large furnace-like structures used to control and hide the flare flame. Combustion proceeds within a firebox, with maximum practical control of air flow or temperature, in order to control the combustion process and produce the greatest practical destruction efficiency of up to 99.9%.

Matrix Flares comprise a large number of individual flare burners each with a small capacity relative to the total relief rate for the entire flare, all arranged into a MATRIX array of burners installed at base or at a derrick structure.
